Boston Marathon Live: Stream Boston Marathon will be held. The 30,000 participants will line up on Main Street in Hopkinton and make their way 26.2 miles through the city and its surrounding towns before racing past the finish line in Copley Square.

Local TV coverage of the race starts at 7:00 a.m. EST. The first wave of racers is set to leave Hopkinton at 9:02 a.m. with the elite women starting at 9:30 a.m. and the elite men starting at 10:00 a.m.
Monday morning weather update
With the race set to start within a couple hours for runners, the outlook for Monday’s weather forecast doesn’t look great. The marathon has instructed runners to seek shelter in the face of current weather conditions.
Wave 1 runners are currently set to shelter at Hopkinton High School and Middle School while Wave 2-4 runners are asked to shelter in buses.

8:50 a.m. – Mobility Impaired
9:02 a.m. – Men’s Push-Rim Wheelchair
9:25 a.m. – Women’s Push-Rim Wheelchair and Duo Participants
9:32 a.m. – Handcycles & Duos
10:00 a.m. – Elite Women
10:02 a.m. – Wave One
10:25 a.m. – Wave Two
10:50 a.m. – Wave Three followed by Wave Four*
